Low-Cost Spay & Neuter

We are able to assist the community with overpopulation of animals and to prevent unwanted litters with the help of our generous supporters who contribute to the Low-Cost Spay & Neuter Fund. To donate toward this important fund, please CLICK HERE.

All spay/neuter procedures are performed at Little Traverse Bay Veterinary Clinic by appointment. All vaccines must be current and if not current, Little Traverse Bay Veterinary Clinic will administer the vaccinations at a reduced rate. This program is open to Emmet County residents.

Please come in to complete the documentation and pay the fee for the procedure. You will then receive your voucher for the spay/neuter and you can call Little Traverse Bay Veterinary Clinic at 231-622-6363 to make an appointment for your pet.

The cost for the Spay/Neuter procedure is as follows:

  • Dog spay/neuter: $90*
  • Cat spay/neuter: $50

*Owners of DOGS going through the Low-Cost Spay/Neuter Program must provide proof of TOTAL HOUSEHOLD income in order to qualify for the program. To see if you qualify, please call the shelter at 231-622-6363. You must reside in Emmet County.
